My friend Alfred has always been interested in health-related topics, researching and reading articles about the latest trends. He wondered if yoga improves flexibility and lowers blood pressure. And signed up for a yoga class, and soon felt more relaxed than he had in a long time.
Alfred has another curiosity: the effects of probiotics on intestinal health, if they improve digestion and strengthen the immune system. Therefore, he began adding probiotic-rich foods, such as yogurt and kefir, and noticed his digestion was much smoother.
With curiosity and an open mind, Alfredo realized he could maintain a healthier and happier life.
1. Drink something hot to cool off. Conventional wisdom states that if you are hot, drinking something cold will cool your body. But a hot drink helps your body stay cool on a hot day because it produces sweat. Increased perspiration is vital: when sweat evaporates from your skin, it cools your body temperature.
2. The heart. Social connections increase happiness and longevity. In regions where people live much longer than the world average, it shows that people who are active and integrated into their communities do not die of heart problems.
Your heart affects every part of your body. It also means your diet, lifestyle, and emotional well-being can impact your heart. Both emotional and physical health are essential to maintaining a healthy heart.
3. Bones. We are born with approximately 300 bones and cartilage that fuse by the time we reach adulthood. The adult human body has 206 bones, 106 in our hands and feet. The bones in our arms break the most.
5. Feet. People can develop severe diseases as they age, jeopardizing health, independence, and well-being. A medical examination of the feet alerts us to health difficulties, such as diabetes, nerve damage, poor blood circulation, and arthritis.
