Marc Anthony is having a great week! He recently made the Guinness Book of World Records for the most year-end best-selling albums in the tropical albums chart by a solo artist. In addition, his non-profit Maestro Cares Foundation held its annual gala last night in New York, where the proceeds help disadvantaged children throughout Latin America.
The foundation was created by Marc Anthony and concert promoter, Henry Cardenas, CEO of CMN who have been doing amazing work over the last couple of years.The foundation focuses on providing housing, health, nutrition, recreation and education. Since it’s inception in 2012, the foundation has helped build three orphanages and is in the process of building two more. It has headquarters in the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Mexico, even though there’s construction underway Peru and in Puerto Rico.
